As of 8:09 Moscow time, July copper futures on the Comex stock exchange fell 1.6% to $3.8748 per pound (about 0.45 kilograms).
At the London Metal Exchange (LME), following the results of previous trading, the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months decreased by 2.47%, to 8773 dollars, aluminum – by 2.13%, to 2479.5 dollars, zinc – by 1.55 %, up to 3536.5 dollars.
In the copper market on Thursday morning there is a sharp decline in prices. For two trading sessions, the cost of raw metal fell by 4%. Thus, copper fell to $3.8475 for the first time since February 18, 2021.
